I think society kind of pushes the whole concept of the "upgrade" and always getting a newer, younger, less experienced model (in most things not just people!) but when you love someone, truly, you just love them. You fall in love with the Laugh-lines they've developed because you have laughed with them or the gray hairs because you've watched them grow in or how they used to hate some food that you slowly coaxed them into trying/tolerating/liking because it wasn't really dislike but improper introduction and you just. You love them. Nothing will replace those thoughts, those shared experiences, the memories. So you grow old together sharing all that. I think it's beautiful. I will love my husband as much in thr future as I love him now, and I will her ish how I've grown to understand him better.

About Me

I'm Jack, a recent retiree looking for a new hobby. Apparently 'annoying my girlfriend' isn't the best use of my days. Her opinion, not mine

I'm a life-long science-fiction and superheroes fan, and a voracious reader. I enjoy movies, fishing, astronomy, and gardening.

I live in Wales with my wife, our girlfriend and an ever growing collection of four-legged friends.
